Following are some facts about me that I want everyone to know about. I have no good reason for mentioning them except that it builds up my self-esteem. If you don't like seeing me blatantly brag about myself, perhaps you should skip this page by clicking here.

In 1948, when I was a high school senior, I received the highest grade on a competitive scholarship examination given to several high schools on the south side of Chicago. This got my name and picture in the Chicago newspapers and in a national magazine.

In 1949, I graduated first in my high school graduating class of 288 students for having the highest grade point average.

In 1968, while working for an international accounting firm, I developed a design for key elements in the firm's national computerized time accounting system.

In 1996, I graduated from a clown training class. I then performed as the clown for a child's birthday party. The child said that my presence made it the best birthday party he had ever had. To see a picture of me as a clown, click here.

In recent years, I have taken several acting classes and have appeared on stage as an actor a number of times. These include: (1) Being a street person in The Actor's Festival (2) Being Harold in a scene from Harold and Maude at the Cassius Carter Theatre (3) Being Superman at a major senior housing facility and (4) Being an expert on kissing at various locations. If you would like to read my monologue on human osculation (kissing), click here.

I also produced and sold a multimedia CD to teach seniors to use a computer. Click here for information about my CD. I also created a web site to help seniors find places where they can learn about computers. Click here for my now inactive Help web site.
